While reading up on F.E.A.R. 2’s multiplayer I came across this little tidbit:
For balance purposes, magazine sizes appear to have been shrunk down. The assault rifle, for instance, has a 12-round magazine rather than the 30-round magazine found in single-player. It makes it a lot more challenging to shoot someone, since you blow through those 12 rounds awfully fast, which means a lot of reloading. It’s actually sort of hard to hit a moving target in this game.

Having almost wanting to shoot the person who made this decision of making the most standard of all-purpose weaponry, I found this forum, proving it to be false.

Way to prevent sales for a game because of a typo.
